The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) and the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) are co-sponsoring a FAER/ABA Research in Education Grant to advance the careers and knowledge of anesthesiologists interested in the key elements of education in anesthesiology—curriculum, instruction and assessment.This will be a $100,000 grant distributed over two years.

The mission of the American Board of Anesthesiology® (ABA) is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) is a related organization of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.  For over 30 years, FAER has been dedicated to developing the next generation of physician-scientists in anesthesiology.  Charitable contributions and other support help FAER fuel the future of anesthesiology through scientific discovery. FAER has several funding mechanisms including training grants, grants which fund research in education, and partnering with other organizations to fund anesthesiology-related research.
